A partnership between me and Julian Schmidt, an AI/ML engineer in Vienna and an ASAI ambassador. Notive generates and edits business websites from current design trends while keeping the workflow simple enough for non-technical users, aimed at people starting a business rather than people who already have a design team.
AI site builders tend to produce something impressive once and unusable forever after. The interesting problem was not generation. It was making the result editable by someone who has never opened a design tool.
So the editor works in the language of the page rather than the language of the DOM. You change the headline, the section, the mood; the system handles the structure underneath.
The markets it was built for were the UAE, the European Union and the Balkans, which is less a distribution plan than a design constraint. A tool for someone opening their first business in Prishtina or Dubai has to assume no design team, no copywriter and no patience for a blank canvas — so the product starts from a finished page and lets you argue with it, rather than starting from nothing and asking you to build.
Everything else: earlier roles, shorter engagements, and the projects that never got a case study.
